As an Occupational Health Specialist, your will assist in the strategy, development and implementation of corporate occupational health programmes and policies. In particular, you will be designated as the Programme Leader of the Company Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Programme, a key focus of your role during the first twelve months.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in development and implementation of the Company Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Programme – developing and conducting educational activities; assisting in the development of departmental guidelines; assessment and set-up of qualified testing vendors throughout the network; advice to staff and supervisors and tracking, monitoring and reporting of programme key metrics.
Participate in productivity enhancement programmes, absence management, injury rehabilitation, fitness to work and health promotion.
Involve in benefit plan administration, referrals for second opinions, in-flight medical responses, infectious disease incident management, pandemic planning and management, health education, advice to management, liaise with healthcare providers on ergonomics and individual cases.
Assist in the development of an office-data management system, evaluation of occupational key performance indices and trends, and maintenance of the department website.
Requirements:

A Registered Nurse with minimum 8 years clinical experience preferably in Intensive Care, Coronary Care or Emergency Medicine field.
Experience in occupational medicine, administrative or management is preferred.
Knowledge of substance abuse rehabilitation programmes or healthcare delivery system in Hong Kong is a plus.
Prior experience in writing and editing policy, procedures and health educational articles will be advantageous.
Polished interpersonal and communication skills with excellent command of spoken and written English to interact in a multi-cultural environment.
Sound problem solving, planning and organization skills. Able to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks within defined time constraints.
An assertive, self-motivated and effective team-player who can exercise a high level of professionalism and sound judgment at all times.
High proficiency in MS office suites is essential.
