The Khazanah Asia (Global) Scholarship 2015

The Ancora-Khazanah Asia (Global) Scholarship is a collaboration between the Ancora Foundation and Yayasan Khazanah to allow Indonesians to pursue Postgraduate studies at one of the top universities in the world.

This programme supports Yayasan Khazanah’s objective to develop future business and industry leaders in the region. It further provides a means for Khazanah and its group of companies to contribute towards the social development of the countries it has operational interests, especially Indonesia.

Selection Criteria

The potential candidate(s) must fulfil the following requirements:

A. General Terms and Conditions

  • Possess strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities
  • A research outline/ thesis summary is required
  • Applicants must have a consistent and outstanding academic achievement record
  • Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the programme

B. Master Degree

  • Obtained a First Class Degree (Hons) for Bachelor’s Degree
  • Obtained admission to pursue studies at renowned universities by the final stage of the selection process
  • Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Master programme

C. PhD

  • Obtained a distinction or ‘A’ grade average or equivalent (if there is a point system) at Master’s level
  • Obtained admission at any one of the approved universities abroad by the final stage of the selection process
  • Not exceeding 40 years as at the enrolment date for the Doctorate programme

UPDATE!! The registration period has been extended to a new deadline in January. The registration period will be closed on January 31, 2015. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Terms and Conditions

Each fellowship is tenable for a postgraduate program at any of the approved universities. The successful candidate is expected to complete his/her studies within the tenable period.

Each scholarship shall cover the following:

  • Tuition and other compulsory fees (as specified by the respective universities);
  • Full living costs; and
  • One-time return air-ticket (economy class)

American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in AAMN Scholarships. The AAMN Foundation is pleased to offer educational scholarships which are made possible through the generosity of our AAMN members and the benevolent giving of select groups of donors.
Our ability to offer scholarships is directly associated with the availability of funds. Therefore, scholarship applications are only accepted when funds are sufficiently available.

We do not have scholarship information from individual colleges and universities. Please check with your state nursing associations, financial aid offices/nursing program (if in school), and major hospitals in your area (may have a scholarship)

AAMN Scholarships

For the 2015 award year, the AAMN Foundation is sponsoring six $500.00 scholarships to Pre-Licensed Nursing Students who are also current members in AAMN and two $1000.00 scholarships to Graduate Nursing Students who are also current members in AAMN. These scholarships are open to male nursing students. Applications for these scholarships will open on March 1, 2015 and close on June 1, 2015.

Advancing Men in Nursing: Call for Abstracts

The American Assembly for Men in Nursing is accepting submissions for oral and poster presentations for its annual conference. AAMN is seeking submissions from a variety of disciplines as well as nursing to present in Minneapolis, MN. Submissions should address one or more of the following conference objectives:
1. Describe the benefits of interprofessional practice team approaches for patients and professional care providers
2. Explain the role of interprofessional practice basics and continuing education in facilitating care providers’ development of fully interprofessional clinical practice
3. Describe interprofessional practice opportunities for men as healthcare practitioners and their employing organizations
4. Discuss interprofessional education (IPE) and its implementation into nursing education.
5. Explore the role for diversity and contributions of diversity in the interprofessional team.
